In addition to our six acute care hospitals, we are supported by a network of physicians and advanced practice providers in the Palmetto Health-USC Medical Group and two 501(c)(3) foundations. We're proud to partner with the University of South Carolina and serve as the official health care provider for the USC Gamecocks. In addition, our Orthopedic Center doctors serve as official team physicians.
As a teaching hospital, we train the next generation of physicians through our 26 residency and fellowship programs affiliated with the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. And through the Prisma Health Midlands Network, more than 1,000 member physicians come together to ensure patients receive the highest quality, coordinated and proactive care.
