ThinkFirst Teens

Reducing traumatic injury risk

Interactive sessions for teaching youth and teens

ThinkFirst is a program offered by Prisma Health Richland Hospital Trauma Center that teaches youth and teens how to reduce their risk for traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries through an award-wining, evidence-based curriculum.

Health educators and VIP (Voices for Injury Prevention) speakers explain how injuries occur, how they affect the body and how they can be prevented. Our VIP speakers are people who sustained a brain or spinal cord injury. Prisma Health offers ThinkFirst interactive sessions at schools, faith-based organizations and community events.
