All providers who order insulin within Palmetto Health, including physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants.

  • Recognize patients to assess for undiagnosed diabetes
  • Order an evidence based diabetes plan for the hospital setting
  • Establish a diabetes discharge plan with priorities for medications and "survival skills."
