Based on guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the situation as it stands in South Carolina today, the WellFest event scheduled for Saturday, March 14, will be postponed in an abundance of caution and concern for the wellbeing of our guests and team members.
As you know, COVID-19 cases are occurring around the world, including right here in South Carolina. Prisma Health and South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SC DHEC) officials are working to prevent the local spread of the illness as much as possible.
Prisma Health is closely following the guidance updated daily from the CDC and SC DHEC. We encourage you to maintain the daily routines of protecting against illness by using good health practices like washing your hands frequently, covering your cough, and appropriately disposing of tissues and other items contaminated with respiratory droplets. Individuals with signs of illness should stay home and not attend public gatherings.
Any WellFest-related updates or news will be posted to our webpage PrismaHealth.org/WellFest. We also will communicate updates to registrants via the email address you provided with your event registration via Eventbrite or CareCall.
Thank you for understanding and support.
