This program is for anyone, of all ages, who is considering quitting. The program is designed to teach smokers about the health effects of tobacco use and the cost associated with using tobacco products.
Classes meet every first and third Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital, 1501 Sumter St. (first floor), Columbia, South Carolina.

Recent results indicate 74 percent of smokers quit smoking by the end of the three-week program, and those who continued to smoke significantly reduced the number of cigarettes consumed each day.
Classes are held twice a week, Mondays and Thursdays, at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Community Health conference room at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital, 1501 Sumter St. (basement), Columbia, South Carolina.
Advance registration is required. To register, call 803-296-CARE (2273) or click below.
