Faye Bible joins Palmetto Health Richland as Vice President of Patient Care Services

Faye Bible has joined Palmetto Health Richland as the vice president of patient care services. Bible, who has more than 25 years of healthcare experience, will oversee patient care throughout the hospital, focusing on all applicable state and federal standards and managing nursing resources.

Most recently, Bible was chief nursing officer at Columbia Hospital, an acute care hospital in West Palm Beach, Fla. Before serving as chief nursing officer in Florida, she worked as the chief nursing officer in Louisiana and held other nursing positions in Texas, Tennessee, and West Virginia. Bible earned both her bachelor's in nursing and her master's degree in nursing administration from the University of Texas in Arlington, Texas.

Bible's professional and personal affiliations include the American Organization of Nursing Executives, the American Nurses Association and she recently served on the boards of American Heart Association and Lions Club in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Palmetto Health, which includes Palmetto Health Baptist-Columbia and Easley and Palmetto Health Richland, is the largest integrated healthcare system in South Carolina, serving more than 600,000 patients each year.
