Palmetto Health is composed of five outstanding hospitals — Palmetto Health Richland, Palmetto Health Baptist, Palmetto Health Heart Hospital, and Palmetto Health Children's Hospital in Columbia and, in a joint venture with Greenville Hospital System, Baptist Easley Hospital in Pickens County.

Palmetto Health has received the 2014 Foster G. McGaw award, honoring excellence in community service, given by the American Hospital Association (AHA). Palmetto Health was a finalist for the award in 2010 and 2011.
