2014 Walk for Life TeeOne morning. One mission—beating breast cancer in the Midlands! Join Palmetto Health Foundation for the 2014 Walk for Life/Race for Life, presented by the South Carolina State Fair, on Saturday, Oct. 18, in Finlay Park. Visit WalkForLifeColumbia.org today to start a team or register as an individual to participate in the 5K walk, certified 5K race or certified 10K race. All proceeds stay in our community at Palmetto Health Breast Center. Funds raised will help to ensure that the patients and families we treat receive the very best care, right here at home. Enjoy free admission to the South Carolina State Fair, valued at $10, on Saturday, Oct. 18, and Sunday, Oct. 19, if you wear your 2014 Walk for Life/Race for Life event T-shirt.


Important Message to Patients Who Received Notices from Transworld Systems on Behalf of Palmetto Health Physician Practices

Palmetto Health has learned that some patients of its physician practices have received notices in error from Transworld Systems, a third-party billing partner, regarding unpaid account balances.

The notices, dated before Oct. 8, ask patients to contact Transworld Systems within 30 days if they dispute the validity of the debt. If you received a notice in error, please disregard it. You do not need to take any further action. We will send you a letter to confirm this and, if appropriate, send a corrected notice.
