Women's Most Common Heart Attack Symptoms

• Sweating
• Vomiting
• Sleep disturbance
• Dizziness or fainting
• Overwhelming fatigue
• Anxiety or sense of impending doom
• Chest discomfort, pressure or burning (not all women experience chest pain during a heart attack)
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Nausea or indigestion not relieved by antacids
• Pain or weakness in the shoulder (blades), neck, arm, jaw or all over the body

Men's Most Common Heart Attack Symptoms

• Chest pain or discomfort in the center of the chest
• Pain or discomfort in other areas of the upper body including the arms, left shoulder, back, neck, jaw or stomach
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Sweating or "cold sweat"
• Fullness, indigestion or choking feeling
• Nausea or vomiting
• Dizziness
• Extreme weakness or anxiety
• Rapid or irregular heart beats
