Halloween Carnival and trick-or-treating for hospitalized children

EVENT: Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital Halloween Carnival and trick-or-treating event for hospitalized children

WHEN: Thursday, Oct. 31

TIME: 10-11:30 a.m.

PLACE: Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital Atrium, 7 Richland Medical Park Dr., first floor

ABOUT: Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital is hosting a Halloween Carnival for patients and their families. Hospitalized children will have the opportunity to select from costumes donated by Children’s Wish. The children will be invited to trick-or-treat with their families in the Atrium at tables decorated by various hospital departments. There also will be a face painting station, carnival games and a craft area where children can decorate their own treat bags.

The Halloween Carnival is for inpatient children as well as those receiving treatment at the Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders and at the Tom Bates Day Hospital. Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital staff will dress in kid-friendly costumes.
