Palmetto Health Board Elects Officers for 2012

The Palmetto Health board of directors announced the following officers for 2012: William L. “Freedie” Freeman III, vice president of Sales at VOA Canada, chairman; James E. “Rick” Wheeler, vice president of Loxcreen Aluminum Products Group Fabricated Sales, vice chairman; Jerome D. “Jerry” Odom, Ph.D., executive director of University Foundations at the University of South Carolina, treasurer; and Traci Young Cooper, Ed.D., director of Extended Day Programs & Partnerships at Richland School District One, secretary.

The board also welcomed new members Jean E. Duke, financial consultant; Calvin H. Elam, CEO of ProVest Wealth Management Group; John W. Foster, Jr., J. W. Foster Agency ; William C. Gerard, M.D., emergency medicine physician with Carolina Care, PA, and James H. Herlong, M.D., retired Urologist.
