Palmetto Health Again Named One of the Best Places to Work in S.C.
10/11/2011
Palmetto Health has been recognized by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce as one of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina for 2011. Now in its third year being recognized, Palmetto Health also won the award in 2009 and 2010. This year, Palmetto Health was ranked sixth among large companies in the state with more than 250 employees. Palmetto Health is one of only 27 companies to receive this designation; and one of only 10 companies in its category.

The Best Places to Work in S.C. program is sponsored by the S.C. Chamber of Commerce, the Society for Human Resource Management-S.C. State Council, SCJobMarket.com and SC Biz News LLC. The program identifies and recognizes the area’s best employers.

“Palmetto Health is deeply honored to be named one of South Carolina’s Best Places to Work for the third year in a row. This award reflects our commitment to the well-being of our employees as well as the communities in which they live,” says Trip Gregory, senior vice president of Palmetto Health Human Resources. “Our employees are key to Palmetto Health's mission and vision. We take great pride in creating a positive work environment where they can better themselves and the care they provide to others.”
