Recurring
Breast Cancer Online
Forum
This
is a support group for patients
whose breast cancer has recurred
after treatment. Patients tell
us that learning they have
cancer a second time is harder
than when they first found
out they had cancer. Recurrent
breast cancer may be local
or systemic. Local recurrence
means that the disease has
returned to the breast, underarm
lymph nodes or nearby tissues.
Systemic recurrence means that
the cancer has spread to distant
organs. Getting information
and support can help you deal
with your concerns and feelings.
