Stewart G. Young, MD, attended undergraduate school at Clemson University and medical school at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. After completing an internship at Richland Memorial Hospital (now Palmetto Health Richland), Dr. Young began working with First Care. Dr. Young is a former Marine helicopter pilot and a long-time resident of the Columbia area. He enjoys volunteering at the Columbia Free Medical Clinic and mentoring future physicians at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and Richland Northeast High School. Dr. Young is married and has four children, two step-children and three grandchildren.
