The Latest on Parkridge – April 2, 2012

While construction crews are busy laying the foundation and building the first walls of Palmetto Health Baptist Parkridge, staff has been working to make sure the new hospital is operational by December 2013. Over the past few weeks, employees, physicians and community members were invited to offer input about mock-ups of proposed patient rooms. The unfinished spaces represented the size and shape of the proposed rooms with equipment and furniture in place or represented. The mocked-up rooms included emergency, medical/surgical, labor and delivery, intensive care and recovery rooms.
