Sarah Blandy, PharmD 

My name is Sarah Mahon Blandy and I am from Lakewood, New Jersey. I received my PharmD from Jefferson School of Pharmacy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in May 2014. I choose to complete my PGY1 residency at Palmetto Health Richland for several reasons, including the wide range of available rotations, diverse patient population and knowledgeable preceptors. In addition, there are numerous opportunities to teach and precept pharmacy students. My professional interests include internal medicine, pediatrics and critical care. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, traveling, going to the beach and trying new restaurants.

  

 

 

Corey Fowler, PharmD 

My name is Corey Fowler and I am from Irmo, South Carolina.  I received my Doctor of Pharmacy from the South Carolina College of Pharmacy in May 2014.  I chose to pursue a residency at Palmetto Health Richland because of the variety and quality of rotational experiences especially in pediatrics, the exceptional preceptors, teaching opportunities and the friendly, hospitable atmosphere.  My professional interests are pediatrics and pediatric critical care. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, painting and drawing, going to Carolina football and baseball games (GO GAMECOCKS!) and going to the beach.  

 

Aubrey Gawron, PharmD

My name is Aubrey Gawron, and I am from Forestville, NY. I received my PharmD from the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Buffalo, NY in May 2014. I chose to pursue a residency at Palmetto Health Richland because of the variety of rotations, quality of rotations, knowledgeable preceptors, opportunity to teach and precept students, and welcoming environment. My professional interests include pediatrics, infectious disease, and oncology. In my spare time, I enjoy going to country concerts, traveling, practicing yoga, hiking, and spending time with my family and friends.   

 

 

Grant McGuffey, PharmD

My name is Grant McGuffey and I am originally from Birmingham, Alabama. I received my PharmD from Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy in May 2014. The excellent preceptors, collaborations with the South Carolina College of Pharmacy, and diverse learning experiences lead me to pursue a residency at Palmetto Health Richland. In addition, the ability to tailor my learning experiences with critical care, infectious diseases, and academia was a great asset in further developing my areas of interest. I am currently involved with ASHP, ACCP, and Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity. In my free time I enjoy reading, watching football, and spending time with my family and friends.
