Caroline Derrick, PharmD

My name is Caroline Derrick, and I am from Columbia, South Carolina.  I received my PharmD from the South Carolina College of Pharmacy in May 2013.  I chose to pursue a residency at Palmetto Health Richland because I really enjoyed my rotations as a student at this institution and was excited about continuing to learn from wonderful preceptors.  My professional interests are pediatrics and critical care as well as psychiatry.  I am recently married and I enjoy spending time with my husband and family especially at Carolina football and baseball games.

Erin Dickert, PharmD

My name is Erin Dickert, and I am from Huntersville, North Carolina.  I received my PharmD from Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC in May 2013. I chose to pursue my PGY-1 Residency at Palmetto Health Richland because of the wide variety of rotation experiences offered with high-quality preceptors, as well as the opportunity to interact with pharmacy students and teach throughout the year.  Richland is a great, pharmacy-friendly learning environment.  My professional interests include critical care, emergency medicine, and academia. In my spare time, I enjoy time with my friends and family, watching college basketball (and researching how to fill out my March Madness bracket), and traveling the world.

Lauren Wyatt, PharmD

My name is Lauren Wyatt, and I am from Martinsville, Virginia. I received my PharmD from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, in May 2013. I chose to pursue a residency at Palmetto Health Richland for a number of reasons including the knowledgeable preceptors, the vast variety and quality of rotations offered, the diverse patient population, and the large number of opportunities available for teaching. My professional interests include pediatrics and ambulatory care. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going to the beach, attending country music concerts, and watching college football and basketball.

Lianjie Xiong, PharmD

My name is Lianjie Xiong. I am originally from Chongqing, China. I obtained my PharmD from Nova Southeastern University in December 2010. I chose to complete post-graduate year one training at Palmetto Health Richland because of the number and quality of rotations offered in critical, ambulatory, and specialty care settings by outstanding and warm preceptors and opportunities for research and teaching collaboration with the South Carolina College of Pharmacy. My professional interests include all spectrums of pharmacotherapy, especially management of cardiovascular disease states and their underlying conditions, and clinical pharmacokinetics research. In my free time I enjoy cooking, practicing Yoga, and spending time with my friends and family.
