Adaptive Gardening Seminars

To encourage the patients who have had total joint replacement, Palmetto Health offers two free Adaptive Gardening Seminars each year — held in the Spring and Fall — on the grounds of Historic Columbia Foundation's Robert Mills House. The seminars feature gardening advice from the Richland County Master Gardeners Association and other gardening professionals. They are designed for those whose gardening may be limited by physical disabilities such as injury or arthritis. Gardening can become enjoyable again when using the right tools and techniques.
Our next Adaptive Gardening Seminar will be held:
| Date: March 28, 2013 |
| Time: Registration begins 9 a.m.; program begins 9:30 a.m. |
|
Speaker: Lauren Duncan, Horticulturist, Historic Columbia Foundation |
| Topic: Garden Design |
| Location: Robert Mills Carriage House |
| Call 296-2273 to register. |
The Robert Mills Carriage House is located at 1616 Blanding Street, across from Township Auditorium.
