Once you and your physician have decided joint replacement is your best option, you will work closely with your physician and with Palmetto Health Total Joint Center manager at Richland. Together, they will coordinate all aspects of your care, including your rehabilitation options, to ensure you have all the information you need from your physician and other healthcare providers — including the hospital and your insurance company. Our Total Joint Center manager is specifically trained to help you understand your insurance coverage and to assist you in making plans that meet your unique needs for physical therapy. Prior to your surgery, the Total Joint Center manager will be easily accessible to answer questions, to help you coordinate plans for pre-operative tests and to give you information to help get you in the best possible physical condition for your surgery.
