Hospitalist Practices
Hospitalists specialize in caring for patients while they are in the hospital. All of our physicians are board certified in Internal Medicine and do not have an outpatient practice. Patients are referred from community primary care physicians, emergency room physicians, and other physicians in the hospital.
If you were referred by your primary care physician, both physicians will communicate regarding your medical condition and to obtain any necessary medical information. Since Hospitalists are in the hospital during the day, they are able to spend more time talking to you and your family about your care.
