About Your Surgery

Before your Surgery

If at any time before your surgery you become ill or develop any new health problems, including pregnancy, please call your surgeon immediately. Changes in your health may impact your surgeon’s decision to perform surgery.

If for any reason you are unable to keep your appointment or you are running late, please notify us by calling (803) 407-4940.

Be sure to tell your doctor about all medications — particularly blood thinners — that you routinely take, and be sure to follow instructions about taking them before surgery. Bring your medication(s), in their original containers, when you come for surgery. If you are diabetic, please bring your personal glucose monitoring machine with you.
