E-CARE (for Palmetto Health employees)

Sometimes life can be a bit overwhelming, both at home and at work. Reaching out to your friends or family may not always provide you with all the help you need. This is the reason the Palmetto Health Counseling created the E-CARE Program.

We provide employee counseling, assessment, referral and education services for Palmetto Health employees.

A caring workplace can help you handle personal or work-related problems in a professional, confidential manner. Palmetto Health Counseling has been helping hospital employees for more than 30 years.

Consider seeking help from  the E-CARE Program if you  or your family members are experiencing  any of the following problems:

Is Using the E-CARE Program Voluntary?

Absolutely! Using the services of the E-CARE Program is always voluntary. Any employee or eligible family member may request an appointment. Regardless of how you learn about our program, the choice to contact us is always yours.

What About Confidentiality?

Confidentiality is one of the most important aspects of E-CARE Program services. No one will know of your involvement unless you tell someone. With the exceptions of life-threatening situations or other situations specifically outlined by state law as requiring disclosure, no information will be released without your written consent.

How Much Does It Cost to Use E-CARE

The first five appointments each calendar year are provided at no cost for employees and members of their families. If you should choose to continue working with your E-CARE Program counselor, your per session fee will be discussed at that time.

How Do I Make an Appointment?

Both day and evening appointments are available Monday through Friday. Appointments are normally scheduled for 50 minutes. You or your family members may schedule appointments by calling any of the following locations:
