Subacute Rehabilitation Center

The Subacute Rehabilitation Center at Palmetto Health cares for patients who are recovering from surgery, injury or illness and no longer need medical care, but are not able to function safely at home. Our caring rehabilitative staff helps patients receive the physical therapy necessary to make the transition to life at home. Close to Palmetto Health’s acute care services, active rehabilitation begins when patients arrive at the Subacute Rehabilitation Center and they can be immediately transferred back to the hospital’s acute care unit if needed.
