Burke Dial, M.D., Neurosurgeon, is the Medical Director for Palmetto Health Gamma Knife Center. He received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed his residencies at Montreal Neurological Hospital and Institute, Montreal Children's Hospital and the Institute of Neurology at the University of London. He is a diplomate at the American Board of Neurosurgery since 1983. Dr. Dial completed Principals and Practices of Gamma Knife Surgery at the Cromwell Hospital, Gamma Knife Centre in London and has been performing Gamma Knife Radiosurgery at the Gamma Knife Center since 1999. |

James Brennan, M.D., Neurosurgeon, graduated from Manhattan College in 1989. He received his medical doctorate from Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. He completed a general surgery internship and Neurosurgery residency at the University of Oklahoma . He also completed a Fellowship in Spine Surgery at Washington University, School of Medicine in St. Louis and joined Florence Neurosurgery and Spine in July 2000. Artur Pacult, M.D., Neurosurgeon, graduated from Copernicus Academy of Medicine in Krakow, Poland receiving his medical degree in 1979. He completed one year of spinal cord injury research, then completed his general surgery internship and Neurosurgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, SC. Sharon W. Webb, M.D., Neurosurgeon, is Medical Director for Palmetto Health Richland Neurosurgical ICU and Co-Director of Palmetto Health Cerebrovascular Services. She received her medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and completed her residency at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. She also completed a fellowship in Neurotrauma and Critical Care at the University of Tennessee and a fellowship in Endovascular Neurosurgery at the University of Buffalo. Dr. Webb is a member of the American Asssociation of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the Resident and Associate Society of the American College of Surgeons, the National Neurotrauma Society and the Neurocritical Care Society. She is board eligible in neurological surgery, and her special interests are neurotrauma, critical care, and vascular neurosurgery. |

Curtis Worthington, M.D., Neurosurgeon, earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed his residencies at Montreal Neurological Institute, McGill University. He is a diplomate, American Board of Neurological Surgery. Dr. Worthington has been performing stereotactic radiosurgery for over a decade and is a charter member of the International Stereotactic Radiosurgery Society. He is also a member of the World Society for Stereotactice and Functional Radiosurgery and the American Epilepsy Society. He is the author of more than 20 scientific publications, many on stereotactic radiosurgery. Dr. Worthington has been performing Gamma Knife Radiosurgery at the Gamma Knife Center since its opening in 1998. |

Jim Boulware, M.D., FACRO, Radiation Oncologist, is the Director of Radiation Oncology at the Palmetto Health Cancer Centers in Columbia, SC. He earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio and completed his residencies at Emory/Grady, Atlanta, GA., and Anderson Hospital, Houston, TX. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Radiology and a Fellow in the American College of Radiation Oncology. Dr. Boulware is also a Clinical Associate Professor of Radiology and Pediatrics at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and principal investigator for RTOG research protocols at the Palmetto Health Cancer Centers. He completed Principals and Practices of Gamma Knife Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Neurosurgery Department and has been performing Gamma Knife Radiosurgery at the Gamma Knife Center since its opening in 1998. |
