Losing someone close to us through death is inevitable on the road of life. The emptiness that accompanies such a loss makes our path to healthy living difficult to follow. Unfortunately, many people facing this uncertain path try to handle their grief on their own.

bereavement support groupTo help at this difficult time, Palmetto Health Hospice developed Pathfinders, a bereavement support group for adults designed to guide grieving people toward the path of healthy living during a time of much pain and confusion.

All grief support groups are led by trained counselors. Participants learn about normal reactions to loss and grief, and are encouraged to share feelings and experiences in a confidential and caring atmosphere.

There is no charge to attend a Pathfinders group and it is available for anyone in the community, not just hospice caregivers. The Pathfinders group meets regularly at these locations....
